​Kick'n It With The Homegirls was created to address these challenges and support transgender individuals in the southern region, we propose the creation of a virtual or in-person support group specifically for transgender people in the deep south, rural Mississippi and surrounding areas.
Kick'n It With The Homegirls support group would be led by trained facilitators who are themselves transgender and would provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to share their experiences, connect with others who understand what they are going through, and access resources and information about transgender issues.
